Position: Buyer/Contract Preparation Professional Locations: Tempe, AZ 85282 Area Code: 480 Pay Rate: $40 - $45/hour Shift: 1st Shift Hours: 40 hours per week (M-F 8am to 4pm) Employment Type: Direct / W2 #SupplyChain #NPI #Procurement #AerospaceManufacturing As a Buyer and/or Contract Preparation Professional you will be responsible for ensuring all incoming requirements are complete, accurate, and fully prepared for solicitation by creating a robust analytical and documentation foundation for negotiation readiness. Maintaining continuous supplier engagement and ensure timely updates, responses, and issue identification to keep solicitation actions on schedule and compliant. And ensure full contractual, regulatory, and compliance integrity by validating documentation, clauses, and audit readiness throughout contract development and approval cycles. Responsibilities: * Deliver tactical activities of purchasing goods and services off of defined contracts with stated terms and conditions. * May include negotiations for non-standard buys, low dollar volume buys or items that are not strategically sourced. * Evaluate and compare total cost of procurement to ensure best value is obtained. * Control costs and obtain savings by using target pricing, reverse auctions, negotiations, and benchmarking. Job Duties: * Review incoming requisitions for completeness and required documents. * Validate statements of work (SOW), specifications, and required flow-downs. * Assemble subcontract packages for buyer/subcontract manager review. * Create and facilitate DATT and Engineering packages, as needed. * Route packages for approvals and document collection. Qualifications: * High School Diploma or GED * 5+ years of procurement/supply chain experience (Aerospace preferred) * Microsoft Office Suite experience (Outlook, Excel, Word) Preferred Qualifications & Skills * Background in Aerospace * Ability to use Excel and other Microsoft products for creating reports and tracking critical We provide a competitive pay and benefits package.
