A Project Engineer role in Greenville, TX 75402 or Plano, TX 75024 is currently available through Belcan. This position will support one of our key aerospace clients with the design and development of aircraft assemblies and subassemblies. In this role, you will be responsible for working with integrated product teams in facilitating project technical success within the allocated budget and schedule. This position requires broad experience in the product development lifecycle and a proficiency in driving aerospace projects to completion. Job Duties: · Manage and monitor progress of portfolio level project cost and schedule. · Proactively perform project risk and opportunity management. · Guide integrated product teams through design and test of aircraft subsystems. · Support technical decision making and change management. · Support military and civilian airworthiness certification. · Lead program portfolio reviews and effectively communicate with internal contributors. Required Qualifications: · Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related discipline. · 10+ years experience in aerospace hardware development and project management. · Self-starter that takes project ownership and provides leadership. · Proficiency with MS Office, MS Excel, MS Project. · Excellentverbal and written communication skills. Preferred Qualifications & Skills: · Success leading teams through the full design life cycle on military or civil programs. · Strong problem-solving skills and creative thinker. · Collaborative team player with the ability to provide leadership and position others for success. · Self-starter than can perform independently with minimal direction. · Experience with aircraft systems, components, and certification. · Ability to obtain a Government Security Clearance. We provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering a salary range of $90,000 to $135,000.
