A Lead Structural Analyst job with Belcan Engineering Group is currently available in St. Louis, Missouri. This job is a full-time direct position. To be considered for this role, you will need bachelor"s degree in mechanical engineering or aerospace engineering, and at least 15+ years of relevant experience. Job Duties: * Provide technical leadership to a team of engineers conducting structural analysis * Collaborate with the OEM customer to define scope of work and establish a structural analysis approach * Create and review structural analysis of others * Maintain strong communication and positive interactions with internal project team and customer * Oversee a team analyst to achieve project success Required: * Bachelor"s degree in mechanical engineering or aerospace engineering * Fifteen or more years of experience performing structural analysis on primary and secondary structure * Solid understanding of structural load paths and failure modes * Strong hand calculation skills and Finite element analysis capabilities (Patran/Nastran) * Understanding and experience using equivalent strength methodology * Static, fatigue, and crack growth analysis experience * Mentoring or leadership experience * Experience with Boeing stress tools and Boeing Design Manuals * Must have good interpersonal skills and willing to work in a team environment * Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills * Must have excellent time management skills * Must have excellent computer skills * Legal authorization to work in the US required * Travel occasionally as required Preferred: * Experience supporting structural analysis of ducts * VBA or similar programming skill set * Experience using ENOVIA, LCA, and CATIA V5 Compensation: We provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering a salary rate of $124,800 to $166,400 however, Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline.
