Job Title: FAI Tech Writer Location: Evendale, Ohio Area Code: 45215 Pay Rate: $32-$35/hr Shift: 1st, 40 hours per week Job Type: Direct, Full Time Duration: 3+ months Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient FAI Technical Writer to support the Passport 20 engine program. This role is responsible for developing, organizing, and maintaining First Article Inspection (FAI) documentation in compliance with AS9102 standards, OEM specifications, and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure accurate and comprehensive documentation of the initial production units. Key Responsibilities: * Using the ballooned drawings with all the requirements identified, determine where those requirements are captured / verified in the assembly planning for that drawing (assembly planning completed by other team). * Creates Excel sheets, following a template, which lists all the requirements captured in the ballooned drawings and record the workstation / operation / sequence in planning that each requirement is captured. As the assembly of the module is carried out, the mechanics working on the module will leverage this Excel file to record verification data / information. * Create print-to-planning for the above mentioned nine (9) ballooned drawings. * If any of the ballooned drawing requirements are not captured in assembly planning, collaborate with the assembly planning team to update planning.
