Job Title: Technical Project Manager and Planner Location: Quer?taro M?xico Pay: DOE Start Date: ASAP A Technical Project Manager job in Quer?taro M?xico, is currently available. This is a one year contract position with one of our key aerospace clients. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the successful execution of complex projects within the organization. Your primary focus will be on managing the technical aspects of projects, ensuring adherence to industry standards, and meeting customer requirements. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, and other stakeholders, to ensure project objectives are achieved within the allocated budget and timeframe. 4 day/week onsite hybrid schedule Job Duties: Project Planning and Execution: - Supports and/or lead the development and implementation of comprehensive project plans, including scope, goals, deliverables, and timelines. - Supports coordination and allocation of resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to meet project requirements. - Monitor projects progress, identify risks and issues, and proactively take corrective actions to ensure successful execution. Technical Expertise: - Provide guidance and support to project team members, ensuring the implementation of best practices and compliance with industry standards. - Collaborate with subject matter experts to address technical challenges and ensure project success. - Desired: Possess a strong understanding of aerospace technologies, systems, and processes relevant to the project. Stakeholder Management: - Establish and maintain effective communication channels to provide regular project updates, address concerns, and manage expectations. Risk Management: - Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize their impact on project outcomes. - Identify Opportunities and develop exploitation strategies to accelerate the schedule or lower overall project cost. - Conduct risk assessments and implement risk management plans to ensure project success and safety. - Monitor and evaluate project risks throughout the project lifecycle, making necessary adjustments as required. Budget and Resource Management: - Supports optimum resource allocation to maximize project efficiency and meet objectives. - Collaborate with finance and procurement teams to procure necessary resources within budgetary constraints. Documentation and Reporting: - Generate accurate and comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, progress reports, and technical specifications. - Present project updates and reports to stakeholders, management, and executive teams. - Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations, quality standards, and contractual obligations. Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field - Proven experience in technical project management, preferably in the aerospace industry of more than 5 years. - Strong knowledge of aerospace technologies, systems, and processes. - Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. - Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage project stakeholders effectively. - Proficient in project management methodologies and tools. - Familiarity with regulatory and quality standards applicable to the aerospace industry. - Strong verbal and written communication skills. - Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. - Desired Tool Experience: Excel, PM Tools, MS Project, Smartsheets, Jira, Confluence, Oracle - Bilingual: Spanish / English Preferred Qualifications & Skills: - GE, Safran or other Aerospace industry relevant experience - Advanced degree Build a challenging and rewarding career with an industry leader!
